Drinking & Drunk While Preaching

In the second and fourth angel's message God passionately warns us of Babylon's “wine of the wrath.” Revelation 14:8 says “And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” In Revelation 18:3 it says, “For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.” Babylon includes the mother, the Papacy; her daughters, all apostate protestant churches; and all false religions, atheism, and pop culture. The wine of Babylon contains Satan's lies, false doctrines, idol worship, pride, selfishness, covetousness, witchcraft, lasciviousness, and all evil that pleases the sinful flesh. Babylon through its deceptions, legislations, and persecution, causes ALL people on this planet to drink its wine except the few remnant of God who keep the commandments of God and possess the faith and testimonies of Jesus Christ.
Why is Babylon's wine called the “wine of the wrath of her fornication?” Beware, it reveals the cause and effect of drinking Babylon's wine. “Wrath” in the original Greek in the context of Revelation 14:8 and 18:3 reveals that Babylon's wine is an “inflaming wine (which either drives the drinker mad or kills him with its strength).” - Thayer's Greek Dictionary. Those who are drunk spiritually on the “inflaming wine” of Babylon become confused by its cocktail mix of truth and lies. The cause of drinking Babylon's wine is drunkenness and confusion and its direct effect is spiritual fornication against the true God of Heaven.
Currently, as we come closer to the coming of Jesus, churches, nations, governments, and the merchants of the earth are mad drunk and confused by the “wine of the wrath” of Babylon. In recent years the mother of Babylon, Papal Rome, has successfully served its “wine of the wrath” through its multifaceted initiatives and campaigns of ecumenism with every major religion through the promotion of world peace, advocacy for the poor, immigration, and climate change. Many leaders from the around the world such as the United States, France, Great Britain, Germany, and Russia have taken their “pilgrimage” to Vatican in which Pope Francis has personally been able to share his “wine of the wrath.” Major corporate leaders by the likes of Apple, Facebook, Google, and ExxonMobil along with about 100 other companies have also gone to Vatican to get some swigs of Francis' Babylonian wine.
No other religious or government leader has the power, attention, respect, and reverence from the world like Francis. He is lauded as one who has great moral authority, credibility, and trustworthiness. As the first Jesuit pope, Francis is touted as a humble, friendly, and “cool grandpa” who genuinely cares for the poor, world peace, and the environment. Their is no doubt that Bible prophecy is fast fulfilling, all the world is wondering after Francis as an idol and superstar intoxicated by his wine of confusion.
Papal Rome has distanced herself from her atrocities and murderous past in which she is responsible for the death of millions of Protestant Reformers. Even though her false doctrines are the same as they were in the past, Papal Rome makes it appear that she has changed for the benefit of all mankind. “History testifies of her artful and persistent efforts to insinuate herself into the affairs of nations; and having gained a foothold, to further her own aims, even at the ruin of princes and people. [But] let it be remembered, it is the boast of Rome that she never changes. She [has] silently [grown] into power. Her doctrines are exerting their influence in legislative halls, in the churches, and in the hearts of men. She is piling up her lofty and massive structures in the secret recesses of which her former persecutions will be repeated. Stealthily and unsuspectedly she is strengthening her forces to further her own ends when the time shall come for her to strike. All that she desires is vantage ground, and this is already being given her. We shall soon see and shall feel what the purpose of the Roman element is. Whoever shall believe and obey the word of God will thereby incur reproach and persecution.” - Ellen White, Great Controversy, p. 581
According to Revelation 13:2 and 4, all those who drink Babylon's wine regardless of rank, heritage, or creed will worship the Beast who is the mother of Babylon, and the Dragon who gives the Papacy its power, seat, and great authority.
Babylon's wine is nothing to play with or taste test, it will make you drunk, mad, and kill you! If those who profess to be the remnant people of God take a sip on Babylon's “wine of the wrath of her fornication” they will not only be spiritually drunk and mad, but will inevitably commit spiritual fornication against the true God of Heaven. Their residency and citizenship will be in Babylon and not the Kingdom of God. Babylon is also a “habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.” - Revelation 18:2. It is impossible to hold a dual citizenship in Babylon and the Kingdom of God. You are either a citizen of Babylon or the Kingdom of God, period. “Ye CANNOT drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.” - 1 Corinthians 10:21. Any professed remnant who defy this Biblical reality by their fruit is obviously drunken by Babylon's wine.
Even though a false Jesus is taught and accepted in Babylon, the True Jesus of the Bible is NOT in Babylon. That is why He is pleading, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” - Revelation 18:4. This is an urgent plea to get out NOW before it is too late.
All the major Protestant denominations around the world including the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist corporate church are sitting at the ecumenical bar of the Papacy. What do you think they are serving to ALL who sit on their bar stools? You got it, the “wine of the wrath of her fornication.” So why are Protestants today, especially the Adventists at Vatican's ecumenical bar when each one comes from a history of being warned of the Papacy as the beast of Revelation? Out of all the Protestant denominations, the Seventh-day Adventists has NO excuse. The Lord has thoroughly exposed the true intentions of the Papacy and its Satanic power, but officials and the leadership of the Seventh-day Adventists have been sitting at Vatican's ecumenical bar since the 1960's until now gulping down big shot glasses of Babylon's draft for over fifty years! Do you think they can drink so long and not be a Babylonianholic?
“Wait a minute”, some may be saying, “are you calling the SDA church Babylon? Doesn't Ellen White say that it is not Babylon?” It is very accurate to say that the foundational and historic message of the Seventh-day Adventist movement in its purity can never be Babylon because it is the unadulterated truth that comes directly from the Bible. God's truth will never cause anyone to be drunk or confused. It will sober up the drunkard and set free the captives of sin and worldliness. In context of Sister White's day, the Seventh-day Adventists corporate church was not at the ecumenical bar of Vatican neither did its leadership advocate to have dialogue with the Papacy in any way. They were not drinking Babylon's wine as an organized church. But sadly, times have drastically changed over the years.
The Adventist church leadership like Eve out of curiosity got close to the forbidden bar of Vatican and began to listen to their mesmerizing words about unity and collaboration projects to address world peace, disasters, and poverty. With broad friendly smiles the Papacy invited the Adventists to have a seat at their bar. A friendly voice while pouring drinks at the bar says, “See there is not nothing to worry about. We are not as bad as your Revelation seminars depict us to be. We are actually nice.” He continues, “look at all our charitable works around the world. You can learn from us and we can learn from you. Come on have a seat, the drinks are on us!” They took their seats and drank and like Eve came back to the church’s offices and gave it to other leaders and they also drank!
Since then the Adventist church has joined themselves to multiple ecumenical projects and conferences with the Papacy and other apostate Protestants. Since 1970 the Religious Liberty department established and presides over the Christian World Communions (CWC).1 CWC is a collection of 20 very large international ecumenical associations. In October 2016 CWC with Adventist leadership made their “pilgrimage” to Vatican to drink the wine of Babylon.2 For many years they have participated in one of the largest ecumenical international fellowships known as the World Council of Churches along with the Papacy and several hundred other religions. They try to assure the church members that there is nothing to fear, that they are not members of the WCC, but only observers for many years.3 They just watch and sip Babylonian wine at the same time. Papal Rome also is not a member, but has considerable influence and power within the WCC. Matter of fact, Pope Francis was WCC’s main speaker for their 70th anniversary in Geneva, Switzerland on June 21, 2018. Francis was the centerpiece and highlight of the conference to promote greater unity and world peace.
In recognition of the power and command of Francis at the WCC, John Allen, editor of Crux writes an article entitled, “Thoughts on the King of the Jungle and the World Council of Churches.” He choose that title as he was watching the WCC event in anticipation of Francis’ speech with his colleague, San Martin. Martin as he watched Francis take his seat for honored guest said, “Yeah, and the King of the Jungle just walked into the room.”4 To make a statement like that is very profound because Revelation chapter 13, in essence, also sees the Papacy as the “King of the Jungle”. The Papacy is the seven headed leopard like beast power with a mouth of a lion, known as the king of the jungle, the seventh and final earthly kingdom.
Francis later at the WCC conference lead out in a Eucharist, Catholic Mass.5 It appeared that all the Protestant attendees participated in this most blasphemous service. The Catholic Mass believes that the priest has power to bring Jesus down from heaven and crucify Him at their will and miraculously turn the bread into the literal flesh of Jesus and turn the fermented red wine into the literal blood of Jesus, known as transubstantiation.
This was a very significant event for Francis to led out in Mass at the WCC among Protestants in a city that historically played a major role in the Protestant Reformation. Matter of fact, Geneva was a place of refuge for many persecuted Protestants from various countries of Europe to escape the tyranny of Papal Rome during the time of French reformer, John Calvin.6 With over 110 churches at the WCC representing over 500 million church members worldwide their participation of the Mass in Geneva was a rejection of their protestant past in a city of their former refuge and a formal acceptance of the Papacy as their mother.7 During Mass they literally drank from the “golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.”- Revelation 17:4.
The Bible is explicitly clear that the mother of harlots is Papal Rome. The Bible does not give any counsel to join nor drink the wine of Babylon while trying to convert them to the truth. This is impossible. For church leadership to think that this is possible is also evident that they have drunk from the Mother of harlot’s cup of wrath!
It is also evident today that the church leadership in these apostate protestant churches have been serving this Babylonian “wine of the wrath of her fornication” to their churches, schools, and institutions. The leaders are drunk and the pastors are drunk. “For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges. For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter: Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.” - Deuteronomy 32:31 – 33. Isaiah 27:7 – 9 says, “But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean. Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine?”
The Bible is quite clear, it is impossible to preach the straight testimonies of the everlasting gospel of the three angels while intoxicated on Babylon’s wine. Professing the three angel’s message and the spirit of prophecy, while drinking at the ecumenical bar of the Papacy, is still an abomination and fornication against God. For many years, a few in the laity and pastors of the Adventist church have pleaded with the conference to stop drinking from Babylon’s wine. They refused and marginalized anyone who spoke up against it. Some of the pastors who stood up about it in the past are very old or dead. The great majority of the pastors today are drinking and drunk while preaching, spewing out a mixture of truth and lies and serving this spiritually toxic mixture of abominations and fornication to their church members! As a result, the whole church from the conference to the local church are drunk! Today, worldliness, pleasure seeking, false doctrines, dancing, Hollywood entertainment, homosexuality, and all abominations of Papal Rome are permeating throughout the churches and its institutions.
Because many of the members put their trust in church leadership instead of the Word, they comfortably sit idly by pretending that everything is okay. Even though some members can see some of the questionable abominations that are going on they rationalize it in their mind, “if this was wrong, wouldn’t the pastors let us know?” How can the pastor call out the abominations within his own ranks, when he is drunk himself? There are many members who put their trust in pastor “superstars” and personalities they see on Adventist TV networks and the Internet. Many worship them like idols. Sadly, they are also drunk with the same wine as their colleagues. In order to keep their status and jobs they remain quiet. As a result God declares in Isaiah 56:10 – 12, “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. 11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. 12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.”
What counsel does the Bible give to those who are listening to pastors who are drinking and drunk while preaching? “Wine is a mocker [including Babylon’s], strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.” - Proverbs 20:1. “But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.” - 1 Corinthians 5:11. “They commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.” - Jeremiah 23:14. “Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone. Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers with shame do love, Give ye. - Hosea 4:17-18. Those who remain quiet and support the drinking and drunk preachers and organizations are only making the problem worse by strengthening the hands of the evildoers. There will not be a true revival and reformation that comes from Babylonianholics.
In these last days we must put our full trust in Jesus as the head of his pure church and stay true to God and His Word. This is NOT the time to compromise and make excuses. We must vehemently refuse to drink the “wine of the wrath” of Babylon nor get close to its bar. We must fear God and give glory to Him, not a pastor or organization.
